Medco Coated Products Announces Launch of Veterinary Products Line

CLEVELAND, OHIO - Medco Coated Products, a division of Medco Labs, announced today that it has incorporated veterinary surgical and wound care product categories to complement its existing line of medical and industrial applications. Mark Fenton, President of Medco Labs, made the announcement. “Medco recognized the need for products developed and manufactured to meet specific veterinary needs and cost requirements. One example is surgical incise drape and drape tape,” said Fenton. “Currently veterinarians must rely on products that are designed specifically for human surgical procedures and must adapt them to their needs.”

Medco has developed an antimicrobial drape that is used for surgical incision sites and is manufactured according to customers’ specifications. Products will be manufactured specifically for veterinary use and will be much more economical to use compared to products currently available. “Medco has built its solid reputation by meeting customers’ quality and cost requirements,” said Fenton.

Elizabeth “Bede” Littman, Marketing Director, will oversee the new product line. "Medco is excited about the market potential for veterinary products,” said Littman. “We intend to explore private label, joint venture and proprietary branded product opportunities.”

Medco Coated Products is a GMP manufacturer specializing in custom coating, laminating and slitting of adhesive transfer films, breathable films, plastic films, nonwovens, foams, papers, cloths, and foil materials for single and double coated medical and industrial products.
